Becoming a Member
Whether you're thinking about getting your first malamute or have been in malamutes for decades, joining a regional breed club like AMAEP is a great way to connect with other malamute fanciers in your area. It gives you the ability to connect with breeders, learn about new dog sports, and share experiences with other malamute owners!

Members of AMAEP have gotten the opportunity to chair multiple National Specialties, as well as, volunteer for committees for both AMAEP and AMCA. You will see many of them at dog shows, and each year our members work very hard to plan and execute the AMCA/AMAEP Mid-East specialties and weight pull in Harrisburg, PA! They are also volunteers at the AMCA Mid-East FastCATs, along with many other performance events around the region.

How do I become new member of the AMAEP?
If you already know an existing member, simply download the Membership Application, fill it out form insuring the check-box "NEW MEMBERSHIP" is checked, have your sponsor sign the form, and mail the Membership Application with payment to the address listed below.

How do I renew my AMAEP membership?
Renewing your membership is easy, too! Download the Membership Application, ensure that you check the box "MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL," and forward the completed form with payment.
Online renewals coming soon!
Renewals must be received by the Treasurer before the annual meeting to remain current and in "Good Standing".
